Support Our Mission: An Evening with Simon Hunter
The Birkbeck Short Filmmaking Society is raising £800 to host an exclusive industry evening with international award-winning director Simon Hunter (Edie, The Lighthouse). Moving beyond the classroom, this session offers a raw and honest look at the ‘war stories’ and professional connections needed to build a lasting career in cinema.
Where Your Support Goes
Transparency is our priority. Your contributions directly fund:
- Industry Guest Fund (£600): Providing professional fees for Simon Hunter and a potential second guest (such as a Film Producer) to offer a broader perspective on the business.
- Networking & Mixer (£200): Funding a professional mixer after the talk, allowing students to build the vital contacts that lead to future collaborations.
